How to use it
Create Users
Thursday, April 11, 2013
The first step is creating a profile. You can have as many profiles as you need - one profile for each child. Click on the 'plus' button to create a profile, enter his/her name and select a picture. Picture can be taken either with the built-in camera, or it can be selected from existing pictures in the image library.
Then click on the 'Settings' button and adjust the difficulty of the generated equations. You can also completely switch off operations that are not needed, and modify the ranges of the generated variables and possible results.
Practice Equations
Thursday, April 11, 2013
Practicing begins with profile selection and clicking on the 'Practice' button. iTeacher generates an equation based on settings specified in the previous step. After a certain amount of correctly answered equations, the practicing is interrupted and the child can select a game that he/she wants to play. The first one is a logic game and the second is for training hand-eye coordination. The game is played for a limited time and iTeacher then continues with math practice.
Statistics Overview
Thursday, April 11, 2013
You can see an overview of your children's results using easily readable graphs by clicking the 'Statistics' button. In the upper part of the screen you can select a profile simply by swiping horizontally. At the bottom part, you can swipe to choose between 2 type of graphs. The first one displays the percentage answered correctly and the second one displays the average answer time. Results are divided based on math operation.
